This is an annual festival held at the VanDusen Botanical Gardens. A setting with green grass and colourful blooms, cherry blossoms and many vendors with delicious Japanese foods and you can learn and see so many things from  Japanese craftsmanship, ikebana, Japanese cooking, tea ceremony, calligraphy and  haiku. There are special performances with the thunderous taiko or the soft shamisen.

This is a wonderful weekend of culture that is family friendly and educational.
