Leopards are the smallest of the 4 “big cats” which include the lion, jaguar and tiger.

These beautiful cats are nocturnal and sleep in the trees or bushes during the day. We were lucky enough to see  a leopard with its kill in the tree on the Masai Mara. Leopards take their prey up in the tree to eat so as to protect it from other predators  taking it away.
