It was exciting going to the sanctuary to view the wide variety of birds at the George C Reifel Wildlife Sanctuary and had the opportunity to see the baby Sandhill Crane “colt”. There were 2 eggs that both hatched but unfortunately one of the colts drowned.

yes, so sad that the little guy did not make it. The naturalist thinks some animal got it.
