This weekend was fogged over to the point where it was very difficult to see the road ahead. Walking along Boundary Bay, the white haze obscured views of the water but also created an enchanting atmosphere.
A beautiful lone peregrine falcon up in the tree. These raptors are known for their incredible speed, reaching over 322 km per hour and are the world’s most widespread raptor. Their diet consists mostly of birds but they do hunt small mammals, lizards and even insects.
A pair of hooded mergansers swimming happily in a pond. A couple of starlings hanging out on the fence while a large eagle is perched on a pole surveying the surrounding foggy fields.
